Why do I need an event planner (or corporate event manager)?

No matter the event a fundraiser, retreat, wedding, or celebration your role is to connect, not coordinate. At Aluma Clarke, we bring clarity and calm to the process, managing timelines, vendors, and logistics so you can be fully present. We help nonprofits tell their story, companies elevate their brand, and individuals celebrate with ease. It’s not just about saving time—it’s about maximizing your impact.

I want to host an event but don’t know where to start. Can you help?

Absolutely. Whether you're hosting your first gala, planning a leadership off-site, organizing your wedding, or putting together a family milestone celebration, we start with a discovery call to understand your goals. From there, we help shape the vision, define priorities, and design a clear path forward.

Do you handle everything?

Almost! We offer full-service planning and partial support, but we generally don’t take on on-site coordination only. Being involved from the planning ensures we can deliver a seamless experience. For nonprofit events, we don’t solicit sponsors directly, but we’ll help you craft sponsor packages and fundraising strategies.

Where are you located and do you travel?

Aluma Clarke is a remote-first company. We work across regions and travel for events of all types from Midwest corporate activations to New York weddings and West Coast festivals. If your event needs us, we’re there.

Do you work with nonprofits and tax-exempt organizations?

Yes we love to. Many of our clients are mission-driven organizations, and we have deep experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, and board collaboration.

Do you plan weddings and social events too?

We do, selectively. While our focus is primarily on corporate and nonprofit events, we take on a limited number of weddings and personal celebrations each year that align with our style and values. If we’re not the right fit, we’re happy to connect you with a planner who is.

Do you offer vendor referrals and event staffing?

Yes. We work within your network or can connect you with trusted, experienced vendors and support staff that align with your needs, whether you're planning a black-tie fundraiser, a holiday party, or a coastal wedding weekend.

How soon will I receive my proposal?

After our initial consultation, you can expect a tailored proposal within 2-3 business days

Who will I be working with?

You’ll be matched with a lead planner whose expertise aligns with your event. While one person will be your main point of contact, the entire Aluma Clarke team supports the process whether it's a multi-day summit, a nonprofit gala, or a once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry liability insurance and can provide documentation upon request for venues, partners, or peace of mind.
